25th - 27th April, 2003

Interface is a festival of ideas on the future of the media, democracy, and education. Interface will be held in Paddington Sydney and will involve over 70 speakers from all over Australia. Participation only costs $10 for the whole long weekend, & anyone is welcome to attend, so register now.

Interface profile series begins on vibewire.net 21/04/2003 The non-profit national youth portal Vibewire are running a series of profiles of Interface 2003 speakers. The first of the series, on Melbourne University academic John Pace, has just gone online. Stay tuned to vibewire for more profiles.

Slip~stitch fundraiser Games & Trivia Night 6pm, 4/04/03 The third Slip~stitch fundraiser event is on this Friday @ the Phatspace Gallery. It involves twister, scrabble & vodka. Meet the Newsmaker 11am, 23/4/2003 Peter Higgins, the director of the Sydney Media Centre, will be interviewing Interface organisers Leonie Philips & Miriam Lyons as part of the SMC's regular "Meet the Newsmaker" series. All Sydney media makers invited. Contact interface@nexus.org.au for more info
Channel 31 interview 21/3/2003 Interface organisers Andrea Rashbrook & Miriam Lyons were interviewed on Chaos TV about the upcoming festival program. The interview was broadcast across Sydney, & will shortly be shown on Channel 31 in Melbourne.
